Rocky Beach Resort

S

amal Island has several beaches, but the most popular beaches flock with many tourists during peak season, which is around March to May. That's why most people think Samal is not the perfect spot for romantic summer.

To avoid the overcrowded beach resorts, the role of Rocky Beach Resort comes into play. The name Rocky Beach was coined by the sons of the beach owner. When they first set foot at Rocky Beach many years ago, it had boulders of corals. As of now, Rocky Beach Resort isn't that rocky as it used to be.

Rocky Beach Resort is one of the budget beach resorts you can try in IGACOS City. Guests can choose between the Bungalow at P900 per night or in Nipa Huts P500 per night. Each room comes with a bathroom, toilet and bed. The room is large and comfortable, not really up to the standard of a 5 star beach resort in the city, but it provides comfort and style than you would expect since it captures the simplicity of early Filipino houses. You can also have a nice selection of cottages to enjoy your breakfast and lunch.

There are plenty of beach activities and water sports to keep you going during the daytime, or you can sunbath on the white sand beach to feel the warmth of the sun on your bare skin. After a few hours of swimming, you can rinse sea salt off in a shower near the cottages.

A family holiday to Rocky Beach Resort can enjoy an exciting nightlife that isn't wild or over the top. It is an inexpensive treat or activity that will make the smiles on the faces of your entire family without affecting your budget.
