Isla Reta Beach resort

A

nother best beach resort located in Talicud Island is Isla Reta Beach Resort.. Talikud is a Cebuano term of the “back”, it is so because Talikud island can be seen at the back of Samal island.

There are quite a few restaurants to choose from on this resort so you will never get bored with the dining options. However, it is advisable that you bring your own food. The price is around 50% more than the city rates, maybe because people have no other place to get the food in the area. You can have bountiful lunch at the provided tables with your family and friends.

You can also enjoy strolling to the rocky portion of the island, it has more coral and fish compared to other public areas. With your snorkeling gear, you can witness the young coral and the various marine life living there. Sea urchins present on the beach might spoiled your fun, just keep your feet away from them.

The seashore of Isla Reta beach resort holds a potent lure for the sun bathers. You can either sleep on tent, on small huts, or in a hammock hang in between the trees for relaxing afternoon siesta.

The Isla Reta is behind a small village, still, there are regular trips for tourists and travelers up to 3pm. It only takes a ten-minute boat ride to reach Samal Island, plus it takes around 30 to 45 minutes trip to Talikud island.

May I inquire about the latest updates, entrance fees and costing of the cottages and accommodations (rooms for overnight)... If exclusive, how much would it be? We are looking for a venue for our personnel's day celebration on Jan. 28-29, 2012... We have night and day activities... May I ask for a contact number and e-mail address if it's okay? Happy Epiphany Day! :) Please e-mail () as soon as possible...We'll be deciding the final venues for our celebration. Thanks for the info in advance. God speed.

I keep looking for some developments in Talikud Island where I was born, raised, and schooled (Elementary only). And I found beach resorts for tourism purposes. The government has made the right decision.
The CATAO CLAN is contemplating on having a reunion in 2014. It is decided to have it in Davao. Hence, I have proposed to hold this gathering in Talikud Island. My writing this message therefore deals with inquiring if your Resort accepts guests numbering more than a hundred (can't give the exact attendees as of date) for an overnight stay.
Moreover, can you please give me your quotations for GROUP rates.
Thank you.

Bonifacio Catao
