Chemas by the Sea Beach Resort

T

he abundant amenities of Chema's By the Sea Resort make your stay comfortable and convenient. Chema's by the Sea is one of the newly opened and nicest resorts located on the western coast of Samal Island.

This beach resort can be a temporary home to a honeymoon couples, singles, and families on a vacation. Many couples choose this resort for their honeymoon since this beach is more exclusive and the owner limit the number of guests to ensure a sense of privacy.

Visitors can catch a boat to Chema's from the Maryknoll near at Insular Hotel in Davao City. The entrance fee is P150/ person for those who want to stay overnight. Day tour to Chema's worth P100.00 only. Guests may choose to have a day trip or an overnight stay. Huts for the day priced at P700.00, and the tent and cabasa costs 1,500. The cottage is also available for only P3,500 good for 2 people only.

This beautiful beach resort comes with very nice landscaping which uses unique materials like dead coral and hardwood. It's very scenic too as you can see the extensive lush greens and charming little cabanas with hammocks and bamboo sala sets.

They have a nice restaurant where guests can eat, and guests are not allowed to bring their own foods. However, do not fret, the rates are very affordable. Anyway, Chemas is a family – owned resort, and it was named after their grandson Chemas.

chemas is a nice quaint and clean place. but the owner is RUDE. the food is horrible. too many rules that defeat the purpose of chilling out. better look for other places. samal has lots of better options.

hi,
I've been here last May 2010.The thing was that we haven't had any reservations so we called up the owner. He was so rude.HE sucks! I can't believe I have a similar experience with the others..I'm never coming coming back! Poor customer service.Definitely, not worth the trip.
